A4, A3 & A2 | Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm | Archival pigment print
Made to order · Supplied unframed
Fire captures flames rising through darkness at the instant their form becomes briefly defined. Amber and orange light emerges from deep black surroundings, transforming fleeting movement into an almost sculptural composition.
The photograph is shaped by the relationship between light, form and negative space. Layers of flame twist and separate against the darkness, revealing fine tonal transitions and shapes that existed for only a fraction of a second. At A2, the separation between flame, darkness and fine tonal detail becomes more pronounced, giving the movement greater physical presence while preserving the intensity of the original composition.
Print & Presentation
Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm, a 100% cotton fine-art paper chosen for its smooth, completely matte surface and refined tonal reproduction.
The matte finish is particularly suited to Fire, allowing the deep blacks to remain rich and uninterrupted while preserving the subtle transitions, texture and intensity within the illuminated flames. With no distracting surface reflections, the contrast between light and darkness remains central to the photograph.
Archival pigment printing provides exceptional tonal depth, colour fidelity and subtle gradation.
