Florence captures the historic city as daylight fades and its celebrated skyline begins to glow beneath a softly coloured evening sky. Warm architectural light, distant Tuscan hills and the transition from day into night create an elegant, atmospheric artwork with a calm sense of place.

Looking across Florence as evening settled over the city, I was drawn to the way the final warmth in the sky echoed the illuminated buildings below. I wanted to preserve that brief moment when Florence appeared both grand and peaceful, suspended between daylight and night.
